We have a few of the girls' old preemie outfits around. I've discovered they are great for dolls, and especially fit the Cabbage Patch Kids perfectly. So, Abby just found and put on a pair of bloomers that go with a PREEMIE outfit that she wore when she was 4 or 5 months old (at about 8lbs).
They fit.

Really? Oh, my goodness! We have just the opposite here: at 20 months, my son wears size 5 diapers!
It's really weird. They generally wear size 3 or 4 underwear and wore in size 6 diapers (for the torso length). Yet, these little bloomers look like they fit perfectly. Maybe they are just huge preemie bloomers.
Actually, they usually never wore any of the bloomers that came with outfits. The outfits would fit ok, but the bloomers would just fall off when they stood up.
They are tall enough - about 37 inches, but you could almost wrap both hands around their waists which I guess is why they could wear infant clothes if they were long enough.
